Why There Is So Much Excitement About Reiki? * Have you ever fallen asleep during meditation or hypnosis and missed most of it? * Would you like to learn a technique that will get the positive suggestions implanted deep into the unconscious mind no matter what? * Would you like a technique that works beautifully even if you are too analytical or simply have trouble “letting go”? * How about learning an additional tool that relaxes even the most stressed person? * Want to do something more to enhance your own healing and help your loved ones to heal, build stamina, and reduce or remove headaches, muscle spasms, cramps and other pain? * Want powerful techniques to heal the inner child, past traumas, painful relationships and more, content free? * And would you like an additional business that is compatible with counseling, chiropractic, massage therapy, hypnosis, or any other holistic practice? Besides all of the above, Reiki can be used to do powerful, emotional release work on yourself and others, replacing negative thinking with positive mental reprogramming. Reiki techniques can release blocks, self-destructive habits, negative beliefs or judgments, and instill positive new beliefs and habits. Done on yourself, Reiki gives you a powerful boost of additional energy and improved health that helps you to reduce your stress level while maintaining your busy pace! Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”), a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy, is the transmission of energy to ourselves and others, either by the laying on of hands (therapeutic touch), sending energy to someone in need at a distance, or working on the mental/ emotional level. The Reiki energy heals us on all levels: the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the late 1800’s Japan, its roots go back thousands of years to Tibet. Reiki I is easy to learn, and simple to do. Everyone can take the beginning level, even children because it does not require any special talent and cannot be done wrong. Unlike other forms of healing touch, hands-on Reiki does not require concentrated mental work. Therefore, Reiki can be done when you are tired. Once trained by a procedure called attunement, the practitioner simply taps into the “source” of Universal Life Energy, turning their hands “on”, and the energy starts flowing. Reiki can be performed hands on or off. In the process of channeling energy to someone else, the practitioner receives an energy boost himself. It is extremely relaxing to give as well as to receive Reiki. A person can be treated anywhere, anytime. Quiet is not necessary. Spot treatments on a weak or injured area can be given quickly. This is what I usually do for my clients that come in with a physical complaint. If a client cannot come in personally, the practitioner can send healing energy at a distance. Usually this is done for 15 minutes at a time. It has been a powerful help to lessen and even remove the side effects of chemotherapy, among other things. Unlike hands-on healing, the distant healing and emotional/ mental healing taught in Reiki II, takes concentration. Because Reiki induces trance, the Reiki II student needs to learn basic meditative principles and formulation of suggestions to insure that he does no harm to his clients. The mental reprogramming technique is so powerful that whatever is in the practitioner’s mind goes directly into the client’s unconscious. Therefore, it is imperative that Reiki practitioners respect the client’s wishes, and maintain the utmost integrity. Not everyone should learn Reiki II for this reason. There are three levels of instruction in Reiki for practitioners. Level 1 deals with hands-on healing, Level II teaches mental/emotional healing, and distant healing methods. Level III, which is broken down to “Advanced Reiki Master-Practitioner”, and the “Master Training” itself that gives 2 separate attunements and teaches many advanced techniques. Traditional Reiki Master of almost 20 years, Master of Neuro-Linguistic Psychology, Practitioner of EFT, TFT, and DNA I & II Thetahealing, Victoria Stitzer has created a very unique healing center, “Transformations, A Healing Place” - International School of Reiki - where she teaches all levels of Reiki and does “transformational” work. She combines Reiki with other holistic techniques for a powerful synergistic effect.
